Door backplate

Framing of door handle and lock

A back plate is an elongated plate that is placed behind the door handle on the door. Originally, this was to protect the door from wear and tear and to unite the handle and the lock in a good way. Today, however, many people choose to place their door handle on a back plate because of the visual expression. The back plate frames the door handle and the lock in a beautiful way, while it also ensures an extra focus on the door handle that you have chosen.

Before buying your new back plates, you must choose which material that will suit your home, doors and door handles. In addition to this, make sure whether the door lock is located above or below the door handle.
